Sara is an opera singer from Gothenburg, Sweden. She studied singing at the Academy of Music and Opera at Mälardalen University in Västerås for prof. Lena Hellström-Färnlöf, Magnus Svensson and Bengt-Åke Lundin and at the Academy of Music and Drama in Gothenburg for Ulrika Tenstam and Maria Ingemarsson Berg. During her studies Sara recieved scholarships such as Anders Sandrew utbildningsstipendium, Uppsala Regions kulturstipendium and The Royal Swedish Academy of Musics local fund.

Sara is a freequent oratorio singer and has sung alto solos in works such as J.S. Bachs St Johns Passion, Stabat mater by Pergolesi and Vivaldi, Requiem by Duruflé and Mozart and Membra Jesu Nostri by Buxtehude. Operaroles performed on stage include Third lady in Die Zauberflöte by Mozart and Baba/Madame Flora in The Medium by Menotti. Sara has a passion for art songs and have performed song cycles such as Sånger vid havet by Gösta Nystroem, Ziegeunerlieder by Brahms and Exotiska sånger by Sigurd von Koch.

In the summer of 2024 Sara was part of the Utopia Choir at the Salzburger Festspiele for St Matthew Passion with conductor Teodor Currentzis. She has also been part of Nordic Opera Choir in 2023 and 2024 with concerts at Nordic Song Festival, Herning Opera Festival and Reykjavik Opera Days.

In 2026 Sara will be part of Utopia at Salzburger festspiele once again, this time in a new Carmen production starring Asmik Grigorian as Carmen, Brahms Ein Deutches Requiem and more.
